The Ogden Surgical medical Society is a most unique organization. The success of the annual meetings is possible not only because of the work and efforts of the doctors of medicine, but in addition by the loyalty and support of the community of greater Ogden, the State of Utah and the Intermountain area.

Its history began because a handful of good doctors had a heartfelt interest in their fellow colleagues, patients, and their community created an enduring legacy of education and collegiality, which ultimately has improved the healthcare of our community.
